The garage was heavily damaged by fire, and this BMW electric car was a total loss ] TOLUCA LAKE — Firefighters extinguished a house fire early Saturday morning in Toluca Lake, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The blaze started at a two-story home at 4555 Strohm Ave. at 12:19 a.m., fire department spokesman Nicholas Prange said. The department dispatched 46 firefighters to the scene and knocked down the flames in about 19 minutes, Prange said. The garage was heavily damaged by fire, and a BMW electric car was destroyed in the blaze, which burned other vehicles, according to a photographer at the scene. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remained under investigation, Prange added.
