A FULLY recyclable electric car has been revealed which has decent range and
a list of unusual features such as vertical parking and three wheels.

Nobe 100 is a new electric car but is a little bit different to the typical
ones you’ll be used to seeing. Car enthusiasts around the world can now
pre-order what is being dubbed as the ‘world’s most sustainable’ car. The
‘neo-vintage’ Nobe 100 becomes available for pre-order on Indiegogo after
years of planning. It is the first three-wheeled electric vehicle which is
lightweight and has fully upgradable firmware.

Roman Muljar, founder and CEO at Nobe commented: “Today is a unique
milestone in the evolution of road travel.

“The Nobe 100 is the first ever all-wheel-drive, three-wheeled vehicle and
is the most sustainable commercially available car on the market – but more
than that, it is the most stylish.”

“Our aim was to at once reinvent the car for a greener future, and at the
same time celebrate its history as an icon of design,” continued Muljar.

“We call it ‘neo-vintage’ and the result is a car so beautiful you’ll want
to lick it.”

It has a range of 260km (160-miles) on a single two-hour charge
(310km/192-miles with an additional suitcase battery) and weighs just 600kg
- less than half the weight of the lightest Mini.

The vehicle can accelerate from 0-62mph in just six seconds and is also a
semi-converitble electric car - the first of its kind.

While it has a retro design the car has incorporates a driving system
designed to be updated, extending its lifecycle way beyond any other vehicle
of its kind.

Perhaps its most unusual and unique design feature is the ‘gecko-style’
parking technology which allows it be parked vertically on the side of a
wall using a parking rig.

Why is this necessary? Nobe says to further save on road space and increase
security.

Born in Estonia, the company aims to create a new ‘nanofactories’ revolution
in ex-industrial towns which have a ‘net positive’ impact on the world
through the provision of low-barrier clean-tech jobs and entrepreneurial
opportunities.

Roman Muljar added: “Growing up in Soviet Estonia, we developed a certain
resistance towards oppressive or controlling regimes and the car industry
quickly began to represent exactly this kind of ‘machine’.

“Nobe’s decentralised production and eternally upgradable technology
provides a real alternative to it all and finally puts everyone in the
driving seat for our future.

“‘Sustainability’ felt like our base target with Nobe, we want to have a net
positive impact on the world.”

The company is still crowdfunding money through multiple investments to help
bring the cars to market.

Ten investors can secure one of the very first batch of Nobe 100’s on the
road for $29,000 (£23,100).

That represents a 19 per cent discount on the $35,000 (£27,900) price tag
when the car becomes publicly available in 2021.
