They have no clue about solar. Notice they are only getting 24W out of their 300W array because they wrapped them over a 90 degree bend. And since all the cells are in series, then the output is no better than the worst cell.
They should have layed the three solar panels longitudinally so all the cells on each panel see the same sun at the same time.. MUCH more power.
