Be careful at insisting on gaspump-charge-station equivalence.
EV charging is so different there are pitfalls to trying to make them
equivalent.

A gas transaction is from $30 to $50. An EV charging event is from $1 to
$5. A full order of magnitude difference.
Demanding credit cards, RFID's Wireless payment and all the other stuff
drives the cost up higer than the reader in a gas pump and for only 10% the
ptotential transcation.
The at 5% of the payback and being charged $.50 translaction fee on a $2
purchase might price EV charging stations out of the market.

I'm not saying it is a bad idea, but we sure do EV"s a disservice when we
clamor for equivalence when there is none. It can bite us in the foot
later. maybe
