You need plugshare and plan your route in advance. Oregon has a fine system of fast chargers on the I5. We have driven our 2013 from San Diego to San Francisco many times. Only has a 84 mile range but we squeeze out a hundred in a pinch. Don't bother with 2011/12 Leafs. If you can get a 30 or 40kw Leaf. Much better on long trips. We got our 30 kw Leaf for $13,550 on a lease deal. I checked Plugshare. It is 83 miles to Corvallis from Portland. An easy drive in the Leaf. Just change in the middle or near the end of the trip.
