I've got myself in training to change my sleep cycle so this old duffer can
stay awake for the two (local to me) NDEW EVents I want to attend:

https://driveelectricweek.org/event.php?eventid=2009
National Drive Electric Week - Austin
Day: Saturday, September 14, 2019
Time: 10:00AM - 2:00PM
Location: Smart Charge America
2016 Centimeter Circle, Austin, TX 78758
(as of date 33 plugins attending)

National Drive Electric Week - San Antonio
Day: Saturday, September 21, 2019
Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Location: Wonderland of the Americas (WoA shopping mall)
4522 Fredericksburg Rd., San Antonio, TX 78201
(as of date 23 plugins attending)

The above Austin NDEW EVent is 1 of 2 being held in Austin, and should be a
lot of fun, with a large variety of plugins attending.
(The other is at a Tesla dealership, parking of private plugins will be
tight/tough, and IMO, a Tesla dealership doesn't really need our help.)

Austin is a 2hr drive N.east of where I'm living
https://goo.gl/maps/su1FAgaUZxyfiTR58
 So, 2hrs to get there + 4hr EVent + another 2hrs to return= 8hrs total
awake time
(I'll have to change from having an old-man nap in the middle of the day).

The later WoA NDEW EVent is close by. But it is a serious change in venue. I
attended and helped out at the last two years' San Antonio (sa) NDEW EVents
that were successfully held at the high foot-traffic Pearl Brewery shopping
center. But this year, the sa NDEW will be in a different location.

I've just spent a week's worth off effort to gather detail, do some
unofficial contact with my local utility, and the EVent coordinator, later
creating EVent rides-route map of WoA for the coordinator to hand out.
In my 30 years of coordinating these EVents, I've found great success doing
all the work, then handing to the actual person in charge for their use (and
credit). More things get done that way, if I'm not seeking credit nor
payment (all my EV efforts since 1990 have been free).

As the date of the two EVents come closer more and more plugins are
registering to attend.
I plan to be at these, and hope to see you there :-)
