Here it is:

No, this is a persistent fantasy, there are no *cable* conversion kits.

The dealer orders a new (2013-2015 style) battery but *with* the old style
control connector and with a special version of the BMS programming in the
LBC, so that instead of the 3 temp sensors as usual in the newer batteries,
it still requires and reports 4 temp sensors as for the 2011/12.

The only Adapter kit that is special ordered consists of new plastic body
panels because the shape of the battery bottom is different, so old covers
no longer fit, as well as 2 new L-brackets to mount the back of the battery
to the car above the rear axle, because of some reason they thought it a
good idea to use 2 smaller bolts instead of the single large bolt on the
back of the battery. With a bit of effort, you can adapt the old bracket by
drilling/cutting the new holes.

One of my Leafs came with one bracket hand-tight and the other missing
entirely, so I am not so sure that you even need those brackets.

The control connector is the critical item as it cannot be exchanged without
opening the battery (and the new batteries are glued shut)

Cor.
