When buying cheap crap off the internet I try to get the protection plan. Also
dealers will work with you and give some money back sometimes when things go
wrong to avoid a bad mark on their selling record. Otherwise I use as is and
try to avoid board level repairs. I have gotten stuff for free when they send
me the wrong item. Even then it might only last a short while....or years.
