Wife got a new PHEV, I get the Leaf to drive, so it's finally time to
get rid of my S-10 Conversion. [No AC in Atlanta was doable, but the
lack hits hard in Orlando...plus pandemic parking lead to a MiniBMS unit
discharging one cell down to almost zero...]
I'm currently planning on removing the batteries, charger, motor and
controller and scrapping the rest of the vehicle (Roller).
However, I'm open the selling the entire thing if somebody is looking
for a project.
I've been using it as a daily driver pre-pandemic, but parked it for
several months and one of the cells got drained down close to zero volts
when a MiniBMS unit died.
Now that particular cell is weak, so I can only guarantee 10 miles of
range as is (but I suspect if you removed that particular cell you'd go
back to 30+ miles of range, but with a 122 volt pack instead of a 130v
pack so you'd have to re-program the charger.
