Not until 2023 and 2026?  That's a little late, don't you think?  

The VW/Audi MEB platform is in production; same with Nissan'Renault's CMF-
EV.  So they're both into their second generations and pulling away from 
EPTOs.  

Tesla has wised up and cut their prices to more competitive levels in 
Europe.  

At least a couple of Chinese brands (BYD, and Geely through Volvo/Polestar) 
are pushing into the EU too, if China doesn't do something stupid to wreck 
their chances, like say igniting WW III over Taiwan.

This is what happens when you have management (Marchionne) who says "never 
EVs."  Then the EU introduces CO2 fleet averages.  Oops.  Time to scramble.

Even if Fiat are pushing an EV headwind, at least they're finally trying.  
But I expect that they'll keep on flogging their dying ICE Fiats, Jeeps, and 
Rams for as long as they possibly can.
