Noise is "pleasure" to some people. However, let me point out that
millions of people go skiing or [snowboard] riding. I've never heard a
complaint that their skis or boards don't roar ! I think, given a
chance, many people would adjust to preferring the silence, gliding
stealthily through the forests or fields.
