We've tried to talk to Tesla before, and we just get radio silence. Likely
we are just too small to get their attention.

I was involved with another conversion project years ago where we used a
Tesla powertrain and I set it up to supercharge, and we got a C&D (Cease
and Desist) from Tesla the first time it was used. (It charged perfectly)

Once Tesla installs more Magic Dock stations (if they do), our vans will be
able to use them with no issues.

I don't really tend to believe much news like the Ford/Tesla partnership
until I see it. Right now any Ford EV with CCS can charge at a Tesla Magic
Dock station, so there's no news there, it's already the case. I'll
believe it when I see it the day Ford starts installing NACS inlets on its
vehicles. I tend to think this is more of a press hype than anything
substantial. In order for Ford and Tesla to make that work, there has to
be a lot of give/take on both sides, and knowing Tesla, I would not be
surprised if they refuse to acquiesce on some small point and nerf the deal.
