Hi Folks, This is mainly the result of GM refusing to put "for daily driving charger to 80%" Like Tesla , Leaf etc does on their display/manual.
Even after the written battery replacement recall notice (received 2 in the past several months), Shelor Chevy, Christiansburg still refuses to replace the battery (due to cost/labor), just reset the software (to 80% - 6200 miles) to see if it happens again (probably far from home requiring an expensive tow truck back). So far I've got 75K miles on the Tesla-Y with *no* issues fast charging. The Bolt (47K) by comparison is now iffy trsnportation, 1 hour to fast charge at 50KW limit. The Tesla accepts 200KW, 15 minutes typical to 80%. Have a renewable energy day, Mark Mark E.
