You can't just casually "handle CHAdeMO", it needs integration with a proper BMS so it doesn't overcharge your pack.  What do you suppose would happen if you just dump 125 amps into your pack continuously without any checks and balances?

    The junkyard pulled the whole unit.  Motor, Transmission, electronics
    box on top (with black plastic cover), attached cables, etc...
    Now I'm wondering if any of the Leaf conversion things available can
    handle the J1772 (and possibly ChaDemo)


Sigh, I do have a BMS.  I also have a battery pack, and a vacuum pump for brakes, and a power steering pump, etc... None of that information is needed to just determine if SOMEBODY has already built the controller/software needed - as THAT unit will specify how to talk to a BMS, etc...
