My take is I'm not so sure Elon cares about Tesla as much as he does
SpaceX, He wants Trump in office so he can "DOGE-mantle" the EPA and FAA
and any other TLA that hinders his ambitions.

Yeah, Tesla will thrive without any tax credits, and this may even make
Tesla's offerings more compelling.  Especially if it drives other
automakers to curtail or cancel their EV programs.  I'm sure Trump will
roll back federal emissions targets, and it looks like he might even want
to go to war with California and the other CARB states to make it illegal
for them to impose their own state-level emissions targets.

It's going to be an interesting 4 years!
