U and I, voltage and current. It's a really stupid design. The uController sets the percentage of voltage or current and the trimmer pots change what that percentage corresponds to.
I reverse engineered the control board and my schematic, or the reformatted version Otmar did (I prefer multi sheet, Otmar preferred single) are still floating around the web somewhere.
