There are Jim, but just as you said, these commercial systems are so new
and too expensive for this purpose.

An example of these is this VELOX DC-DC charger unit that its designed to
operate on ≈800-900V DC buses, which are a growing trend (DC buses) in
medium and large commercial applications nowadays, where it is cheaper and
more practical to have HV-DC bus connecting dispensers like this one,
attached HV solar PV, also energy storage systems, etc. everything on DC
with the option to tap into the utility via a bi-directional AC-DC units as
a backup. (know as DC grids or DC micro grids)

This device in particular, can take ≈800V DC input from any DC source and
deliver a fast charge to EVs from 150-920V DC at 150kW max power with ≈98%
efficiency.

PS. I think this is how Tesla and WattEV are able to make these massive
charging sites (80, 100+ stalls) combined with Solar PV, ESS and DCFC
without depending on the grid for peak power and these things.
