Almost none of these low-cost adapters have the technically required
mechanical interlock.   This means you can rip out the cable while high-amp
charging is occurring and this could cause an arc flashover which is
basically shorting out your battery pack!   NEVER attempt to unplug one
until you stop the charging somehow.

The Tesla made OEM adapters have a mechanical interlock that prevents you
from disconnecting until the port is unlocked only after the system
determines there's no voltage present anymore, this is how it should be!
