The list will move to a different server over the weekend. Our host of almost 14 years is throwing us out on the street, along with all the other discussion lists.
But that's OK. We're moving to a newer place in a nicer neighborhood. So there. I'm going to try to keep the same posting address, [email protected]. I'll let you know if it changes. (Wouldn't it be great if you could actually move house without sending out change of address cards and updating all your online services?) If all goes well, there'll probably be a period of weirdness lasting between several hours (likely) and a couple of days (not so likely). During this time, posts could traverse either server, or neither. If all doesn't go so well, we might see a day or two of complete downtime. But then with the skimpy list traffic these days, will anyone notice? :-\ And now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to packing for the move.
