Interesting. A good portion of my work is dealing with putting LFP on equipment originally designed for lead acid batteries (solar power systems). Sometimes it's possible to program the old equipment to work with the new batteries, sometimes it's not. If it's not programmable at all (like most car charging systems) there can definitely be issues.
