Hi, The Evergreen Community is pleased to announce the availability of the release candidate for Evergreen 3.7. This release follows up on the recent beta release. The general release of 3.7.0 is planned for Wednesday, 14 April 2021. Between now and then, please download [1] the release candidate and try it out.
Additional information, including a full list of new features, can be found in the release notes [2]. At this time, I request that committers hold off on merging patches to the rel_3_7 branch anything that isn't a fix for a release-critical bug or a documentation or release notes update. This freeze will be lifted after the release of 3.7.0 on Wednesday.
