Hi all, I'm looking forward to meeting up with many of you in a little more than a month for the 2024 Evergreen Hack-a-way! I have a couple of requests for participants.
- Could you please be sure to either add your name to the wiki <https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=hack-a-way:hack-a-way-2024> or, if you don't want to add it there, contact me if you are planning to attend the hack-a-way. I want to make sure we have an accurate count for our caterers. - The wiki page also has a link to this Google form <https://forms.gle/ini9FmgxoLhQqBzL8> for participants to submit their travel details. These details will allow us to arrange transportation to/from the airport and will also give us an idea of how many cars will be available to get to dinner and other nighttime events. The wiki page also has a link to an Area Restaurants and Entertainment doc <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qoIkfS0CIE-bvNKbFSx3SIJ71ng6zA7YICB5rrzodI4/edit?usp=sharing> with suggestions for dinner and nighttime activities. I can arrange reservations for each night of the hack-a-way, but people are also free to do their own thing. If any of the venues on this list are of interest to you, let me know. I'm really hoping I can get a group of people together Wednesday night to go to our local Prince-themed speakeasy, When Doves Cry. The hotel no longer has standard queen rooms available at the group rate. Larger rooms are available at a higher rate. If anyone didn't get their room reservation in on time, let me know and I'll work with the hotel to get a room at a reasonable rate. If you have any questions, let me know!
