Hello all, As someone who will be going off the Evergreen Project Board soon and has served on both this board and its precursor, the Evergreen Oversight Board, I highly encourage you to consider this. My time on the board was not only time spent on behalf of the Evergreen Project and the software and community it supports. I also found the experience invaluable to my own roles in libraries and consortia in Indiana and further abroad. I have been able to build connections that informed and improved the way I approached service to the libraries and public I served. I really can't overstate how important and positive my experience on the Evergreen Project Board has been. I know I'm not the only one who has had this experience. I hope you sincerely consider participation in this manner. It truly is, like our software, feature rich and evolving in generative and positive ways.
