Hey all! I hope all of you are able to take a little bit of time to participate in this community effort to make improvements to Evergreen.
*Getting Started:* 1) The list of test servers with bug fixes and features that are ready to test is located here (on the General Info/Test Servers tab): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sS9GZrVgP9Yazvc-tUC7kqFMIOH8YgxoTcGM1R6leY8/edit?usp=sharing 2) The "Statistics During BSW" tab will be where I track all of the activity that takes during the week including testing feedback, signoffs, new bug reports and new patches submitted. 3) All test servers have a set of dummy data (Concerto <https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=qa:concerto_logins>) installed on them, and you are free to change records and settings while you are testing. Be sure to test with different types of user accounts with different permissions levels! *Ways for New Participants to Contribute:* - Test new bug fixes and features <https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sS9GZrVgP9Yazvc-tUC7kqFMIOH8YgxoTcGM1R6leY8/edit?gid=0#gid=0> and provide feedback and signoffs <https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=dev:bug_squashing#testing_bug_fixes> on them at their associated Launchpad page - Add tags from the list of authorized tags <https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=dev:lp_tags> to bugs that do not yet have tags added (the first 40 or so on this list <https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bugs?orderby=-tag&start=0>) - Go through the list of bugs with the "New" status <https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bugs?field.searchtext=&search=Search&field.status%3Alist=NEW&assignee_option=any&field.assignee=&field.bug_reporter=&field.bug_commenter=&field.subscriber=&field.structural_subscriber=&field.tag=-pullrequest%20-signedoff&field.tags_combinator=ANY&field.has_cve.used=&field.omit_dupes.used=&field.omit_dupes=on&field.affects_me.used=&field.has_patch.used=&field.has_branches.used=&field.has_branches=on&field.has_no_branches.used=&field.has_no_branches=on&field.has_blueprints.used=&field.has_blueprints=on&field.has_no_blueprints.used=&field.has_no_blueprints=on&orderby=-datecreated&start=0> to see if you can confirm them - if you can, change the status to "Confirmed".
