Hi Jordan,

The PaILS/SPARK Consortium is also using the Evergreen notices with many
customizations. However, I do hope to perform some further customizations in
the future to improve the patron experience while still maintaining each
library's individual identity.

One example of these efforts so far include the PIN Change Request notice. It
will display specific information depending on the home library of patron and
pulls the information from the database. So even though all the libraries share
the notice, it uses their email, contact information, hours of operation and
even individual opac link!

Below is an example for one of a recently migrated library, the notice worked
for them without a hitch after the migration.

Hi all,

The NTLC consortium is exploring options at using a third party to facilitate
email notifications. What is the rest of the community using to send out email
notifications? Are you just using the default Evergreen notifications, or are
you going with a third-party service like Message Bee?

Thanks,
Jordan Woodard
