Hi, VPATs are on the agenda ( https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=governance:minutes:2023-06-15) of the TEP board meeting this Thursday, especially given the potential expense.
While there is no requirement that Accessibility Conformance Reports or ACRs (to use the more correct term; a VPAT is just a template for an ACR) be created by third parties, I am of the opinion that at least initially we're best off getting an evaluation from a person or entity that already has experience doing them rather than trying a roll-our-own approach. That could mean a paid contract, but it could also mean working with an in-house accessibility shop that may be available to a community member and is willing to donate their time.
