The Evergreen development community are pleased to announce the release of OpenSRF 3.3.3 on 18 March 2026. This release fixes one bug and adds prerequisite installation on Debian 13 Trixie. While it is a small update for OpenSRF, it represents an important milestone on the way to Evergreen 3.17.0.
OpenSRF 3.3.3 is available for download at https://evergreen-ils.org/opensrf-downloads/ Bug fixes include: * LP#2120581: Add prerequisite installation for Debian 13 "Trixie." * LP#2130496: Improve back end error reporting. Back end transport and timeout errors previously returned an empty message. This update changes that to return a status message indicating that an error has occurred.
