Marc,

I believe the post in question was from Karl Royle.

Here it is:

“ Here at the University of Wolverhampton we are undergoing a period of
retrenchment and restructuring where arts courses are being cut and staff
made compulsorily redundant. This is a common theme across the UK
universities where education is becoming increasingly commodified. Equally,
in a top-down managerial system many events and circumstances are left
undiscussed and given as a fait accompli. This all begs the question of the
purpose of universities in the 21st century. We would like to run an open
space event discussing this question for any interested parties with a view
to developing a charter or manifesto for the governance and purpose of the
university within the wider community.

Is this something that you might be interested in helping us with. We would
hope to do this virtually.

Best wishes”
