Dear Funda and anyone,
You write here below: “To make it short, I wanted to analyze
how we are organized, not as OST community. Yesterday
I forgot to add Face Book Groups, LinkedIn Pages, Qiqo Chat
Communities, etc….and discuss with my colleagues if this is what
we want and what we need?”
So yes, let's discuss, allow me to share my recent Project
summary, here below in anticipation of any comments.
Hello everyone,
We're thrilled to welcome new players into our learning
network. Our mission test centers around Raising
the Value of Learning through the concept of time currency
within shared activities. This innovative approach
stems from a project crafted by Geoff Thomas, the Founder of
the Wales Institute of Community Currencies.
Here's one of
the key reasons behind our initiative: “Did you know
that, according to the U.S. Department of Education, 54% of
U.S. adults aged 16 to 74 - that's roughly 130 million
people - lack proficiency in literacy, reading below the
equivalent of a sixth-grade level?”
For a comprehensive grasp of our beta endeavor, we invite
you to explore the thesis files available at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jXdjM5_O4V62s6tfZiLhR_PxX3ABPa39?usp=sharing.
Whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned participant,
aligned with our vision and mission, we utilize the hOurworld
Time&Talent (T&T) platform to foster a vibrant
community of practice. Here, we come together to share our
skills, knowledge, and passions while earning and spending
Learning Time Credits for our efforts.
Growing this project collectively offers a fantastic
opportunity to acquire new knowledge, connect with fresh
faces, and enjoy the process. We're confident that you'll
relish being a part of this incredible network!
Warm regards in Solidarity,
Tony

Dear Michael,
I am grateful for "open space world.org". Thanks! I have
translated the OST text into Turkish with Filiz Telek and Ozge
Ertem
many years ago and I uploaded the pictures of the first OST
that we facilitated with my colleagues in Istanbul.
I then had my OST internet address (AAT Organizasyon) for
many years. I have not added the address in " openspaceworld.org"
but I added the link to Open Space World Org. on my
website. I don't have this website now because I was not sure
if it was worth it?
Now I want to discuss this issue with anybody who cares
about the methodology called OST.
As you all know the world organizes itself as Harrison Owen
has foresaw perfectly many years ago. We can see this in
facebook groups,
whatsapp groups, lately I came across "Meet Up" . This is
really magic.
To make it short, I wanted to analyze how we are organized,
not as OST community. Yesterday I forgot to add Face
Book Goups, Linked In Pages,
QiQoChat Communities, etc....and discuss with my colleagues
if this is what we want and what we need?
Have a wonderful weekend,

Hi Funda, it sounds like you are aiming to
update work some of started back in 1999 and I’ve maintained
since then. From its very beginning, Openspaceworld.org has
always tried to be this list of links. You might check to
see what’s there now. My experience is that any such list
vastly understates what OST is actually doing in the world,
so it is just a jumping off, or jumping “in” point. But have
a look. And then I’ll be curious about what you find
obsolete or missing in what’s included there. Thx for
renewing this effort, Michael
Thank you for curating this information.
I look forward to exploring these links.

Dear Colleagues and OST Practitioners,
As someone who cares for this method and as
someone who acts as an organizational
consultant for her clients, I wanted to
contribute a little bit
for OST.
Here are the list of relevant
organizations, web addresses and several
communities:
OST as described by Harrison Owen
Asia Pacific OSONOS Community
ICA Taiwan
Communities that intersects with OST
Genuine Contact Community
Art of Hosting Community
Special thanks to Michael M. Pannwitz who
inspired me to start this work.
This work is open to any discussion and
contribution of course.
It would be nice to prepare a map of this
work adding the names of responsibles.
I know that many of us work related to
"sustainability" issues. What I would like to
discuss in fact is
whether the
principles of OST can help the method to be
sustainable and/or to travel to areas where
it's needed?
Of course,
this question of mine is just an invitation,
like many other questions.
Have a great afternoon, morning or evening,
Funda Oral
from Istanbul and from Berlin
Note: please don't invite me for any
further training about OST. I am not willing
to buy any training nor certificate to do my
work.
