 Dear Peggy, Thanks for passing this very sad news along. Anne is one of my favorite people and I continue sending love to her,
Heart to heart, Birgitt Dear Open Space friends,
On October 11th, Anne Stadler fell and broke her pelvis. While no surgery was involved, she ended up in rehab. I have been in touch with her daughter, Sue, who sent this message late last night:
Anne’s lungs are very tired and her body might be giving in to the next adventure soon. She is accepting high flow oxygen and morphine in hopes that she’ll still be with us when all of us kids are here, so she can then let go. Mike [Anne’s oldest son] is flying from So Calif tonight, Quince [Sue’s partner] is driving from the Oregon coast. Aaron and Matt [Anne’s sons] and I are here in Seattle.
Could you invite a broad net of her friends to send her love and ease? I’m sorry that she is too fragile for anybody but us kids to be with her; Thanks for helping cast this net of love for Anne to float upon, Sue
Since Anne wants to focus on family right now, I created a Google Doc for any messages you want to share with her or her family.
Anne has touched to many of us! Please share this message with anyone who might wish to weave this net of love for Anne.
