Dirac's _The principles of quantum mechanics_ is the classic exposition of the full formalism. _QED_ by Feynman is the best starting point for quantum field theory and the sum over histories, I think. Franz Mandl's _Introduction to Quantum Field Theory_ was useful when I was trying to learn the subject. Veltman's _Diagrammatica_ has all the Feynman rules for the standard model in an appendix.
