What politicians should get you is economic security, but imposing ridiculously
high tariffs will do exactly the opposite, it's a lose-lose proposition, it
hurts foreign countries and it hurts us just as much. Trump claims tariffs will
cause a trade surplus but there is no evidence of that. Germany and France have
exactly the same tariffs but Germany had a trade surplus last year of €186
billion, while France had a trade deficit of €44 billion. And why is a trade
deficit a bad thing? I run a trade deficit with Amazon, I send them money and
they give me goods, but they have never sent me any money, so should I get mad
at Amazon and stop doing business with them?
Another thing a good politician should get us is peace, but Trump is picking a
fight with our closest friends, Canada because it doesn't want to become the
51st state and Denmark because it won't give us Greenland of all places. And
that's not all, when Trump introduced the new F 47 fighter plane he said the
version of it that he sold to America's allies would be deliberately downgraded
“because someday, maybe they’re not our allies.” After that NATO nations
started to reconsider multibillion dollar contracts to Buy F 35s, fearing
American control over parts and software.
After Trump was elected and America's new hostility to foreigners began Brazil
increased trade with China and is doing it in China’s currency, not the dollar.
Poland, South Korea and Australia are seriously discussing making their own
nuclear weapons. A free trade and technology deal between the European Union
and India suddenly accelerated after years of delays. Trump threatens to send
the U.S. military into Mexico and Panama to take control of the canal, and he
won't rule out going to war with Denmark, a NATO ally, so he could take over
Greenland.
And Trump blames Ukraine for the war that Russia started. Thanks to Trump the
USA will soon have only one friend in the entire world, Vladimir Fucking Putin!

That claim was made by Marjorie Taylor Greene, and if you believe one word that
ignoramus says there is some swampland in Florida I'd like to sell you. And
Elon Musk's DOGE claims it has cut between $500 billion and $1 trillion in
“waste, fraud and abuse”, but the true figure is 6 billion, 2 billion comes
from ending diversity and climate change programs, and the other 4 billion from
cutting medical research, do you really want to argue that is a good idea?

Oh and just a few minutes ago I learned that Trump and Musk have fired 10,000
people who worked at the Center For Disease Control and the Food And Drug
Administration; after all, we don't need to control disease, and who cares if
our food has rat turds in it. Also dear leader Trump has decreed that the
funding for the Smithsonian Institution, the best museum in the world, will be
cut because it had “improper ideology”
