Who gives a shit about the GeForce 5000? That's a consumer grade graphics card,
nVidia may have started as a graphics card company but it's not that anymore.
During just the last three months nVidia had revenue of $39.4 billion, but
their entire gaming segment (which includes consumer graphics cards) only
accounted for $2.5 billion of that or about 6.4%. The rest came from selling
far more expensive and vastly more powerful chips to data centers which are
growing at an exponential rate thanks to AI. I wouldn't be surprised if they
decided to sell their entire gaming division so they can concentrate entirely
on AI.

The very reason nVidia has become the most valuable company in the world and is
still growing is because they put so much emphasis on AI performance, to be
more specific, they realized about a year before their competitors that if they
started to concentrate their R&D on finding ways to make chips that were
especially good at running neural networks they could make a lot of money. And
in the field of AI a one year headstart is like a geological age.

In reading AI2027 (you should read it too but I know you never will) about the
various possible scenarios were likely to see in just the next few months, it
often mentions that the president may decide to do this or the president might
decide to do that and a cold shiver runs down my spine when I reflect that "the
president" they're referring to is Donald Trump, and if his track record is any
indication, he will always make the wrong move.
