*Remember when Trump said the solution to the Covid pandemic was to test for the virus less often, that way the US would have a smaller Covid infection rate? Well he's at it again, he told the Bureau of Labour Statistics to stop collecting so much information on how consumer prices were increasing. Trump said he did it to save money but, and I know this sounds crazy, I can't help but wonder if his actions might have something to do with how his tariffs are going to massively increase inflation. It sort of reminds me of those special sunglasses in the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy that become completely opaque if it detects a dangerous creature, the idea being that if you can't see the monster then the monster can't see you. *
