Yes, excellent review - but I don't think they have yet broached the central mechanist concept of immateriality. I haven't read the book but I don't think Hawking has ever referred explicitly to the contradiction inherent in the mind-body problem. It may be that Bruno is ahead of the lot of them - Deutsch included.
