The universe is made up of two kinds of entities: subjective experience and objective objects. Materialism has no means to deal with subjective experience. These are very well-defined categories. The Cs dipoole I spoke of has one kind at each end so, all 'in all, there is only one kind of entity. If it is broken down to its simplest form, that is a monad, so the universe consists of an infinite number of monads.
