That hateful subject, metaphysics To deal with consciousness and experiences, which are mental, not physical, you have to go to that hateful subject, metaphysics, and only Leibniz has a good account of the perceiver, which is the experiencer not available to materialism.
If you still believe there is a perceiver in materialism, could you tell us where it is ? It has to be at one place, as your experience and mine says that there is only one perceiver.
