I would highly recommend "Colossus: The Forbin Project" and "Forbidden Planet". Also, back in 1980 PBS did a production of Ursula K Le Guin's novel "The Lathe of Heaven" that I thought was excellent , you can get the DVD at Amazon for a few dollars. I've heard a lot of good things about "Primer" but I haven't seen it and the DVD cost a ridiculous $95.
