Whether it's pure infinite, or simply infinite, or just plain infinite is not the meaningful sense in the first place. But the human assumption built into the MWI conception, of a Nature with infinite resources at her disposal. It's the infinite size of that, not MWI. The assumption. If MWI turned out to be so big, but then some bright spark came up with some oversight in the reckoning, correction of which would require the Multiverse to be twice as big as previously thought. Would that pose a problem? For even a the beat of the planck scale heart, a problem? In even one hiving universe in the pure, simple or just plain infinite multiverse would anyone anywhere at all skip a beat before throwing another wedge of multiverse after the first one? That is why it is an infinity theory. There's always a solution to every problem - maybe an infinite number of them And is there a single historical problem faced in science that could not have been 'explained' by an infinity theory? I don't think so. I don't think there is even one. So I guess if we adore what science accomplished and the new lanadscapes of potentials it bequeathed to mankind. We ought thank our lucky stars we were born now and not back then because what we'd have now, would be that original infinity theory. Agelessly non-reactive, non-eroding, untouched by an interval of human ages. Unmodified. The perfect unifying theory of everything. Yet count ourselves lucky it didn't happen that way. Because there never would have been a Science. And who really cares? It's so.....finite. So anthropomorphic. So starchily empirical so discredited , so not out of the box,. The only limitation is imagination and you know what that says about that lot.
Science and its finitie we'd live with out that -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Everything List" group.
