unexpectedly in Hawaii, Wednesday. He wasn't a participant on this
list but some here know him from his books and his Avoid-L mailing
list.
Sad news. I liked Vic's many texts on the internet (around Emmy
Noether). He made me think deeper on the "anthropic fine tuning"
weaknesses, and I do like his book "God, the failed hypothesis". I do
agree with all what is said in that book, yet I guess that I disagree
with what is not said in that book, so I missed asking him, except
indirectly through you (Brent) perhaps. RIP Vic.

I too will miss Hal, but he is being Cryopreserved so maybe just
maybe he won't be missed forever.

dialogues with this list. A solid contributor for the decade
roughly 1998-2008.
