That's right.
All computations are emulated by the (sigma1) arithmetical reality, so
even if you were right now a unique possible individual person, your
next states should result on a FPI-calculus (say) on all computations
going through your current state (at your substitution level and
below). But in "reality", you are not a unique individual, you are
already associated (even if only by ignorance) to an infinity of non
distinguishable histories, and the next states probable have to take
the whole differentiation into account. Mathematically, for the ideal
machine, it is far more simple, because we start from the correct
level of description, and study what the machine can say or not say
from that (on the sigma1 (computable) propositions.
It is here that you can see the failure of the identity thesis. We can
attach/associate a mind to to some machine, judging from its behavior,
but the person supported by that machine cannot attach itself to that
machine, or to its machine state, but only to the infinity of them,
which are emulated in the (sigma1) arithmetical reality.

A question for Bruno (and anyone who wants to chime in, of course):
I believe you state that, under comp, consciousness necessarily
supervenes on infinite computations. Why?
Best,
Telmo.
