I work with somebody, remotely, who contracted and survived the Wu-flu,in India several months ago. We can and should speculate, but some epidemiologists have pondered that part of it may be genetics, which is bolstered by the "Swiss" example, where there is a divergence of infection rates, perhaps, behaviorally, meaning people who are less emotive and embrace rarely. Then, as we can see with India, and the metro areas of the US, public transportation could raise the infection rate? There has also been increased susceptibility via being fat, as well. For public policy and risk management, and comparing how Wu is medically treated, worldwide, this is no great difference, in how Sudan treats Wu patients versus the US. There is no magic thing that Sweden has done right, or the US has done wrong, albeit, we are the greatest Covid testers in the world, currently.
