Because of that we can thank the Electoral College for giving us George W. Bush and the pointless Iraq war, and also for Donald Trump and his COVID bungling and endless scandals. Democrats have won the popular vote in 7 of the last 8 presidential elections and yet 6 members of the Supreme Court were appointed by Republicans and only 3 by Democrats, that's why we're getting so many screwy rulings from them now such as banning abortion. And do we really need 2 Dakotas? California has over 24 times as many people as Dakota does, and yet Dakota has 4 senators but California only has 2.
