This move may have made him a martyr of sorts and you know how religious people flock to martyrdom? wink-wink! It does however gain energy with the democratic voter as polls do show! It take Joe and lamenting him, into talking about Trump, a dem party unifier. For that it worked very well. Lots of things depend on yes the economy and crime, but also war/no war.
