Language models are great but for AI to really make an impact on society large enough to be called a Singularity it's got to be able to directly connect with the real world. And this is the most impressive demonstration of robotics that I have ever seen, it's not quite as acrobatic as the robots from Boston Dynamics but it's a hell of a lot smarter; it comes from a collaboration between OpenAI and a robotics company called "Figure".
