*Maxwell's Equations are compatible with Special and General Relativity but
NOT with Quantum Mechanics. As soon as the electron was discovered in 1897
everybody knew that Maxwell's equations would need to be modified, but it
took about 30 years before anybody knew exactly how. But there is no
experimental result that suggests Schrodinger's equation needs to be
modified. *
