Yup, it's my bug. :)
I opened the bug after decided my mailing list posting about the issue wasn't going to be allowed onto the list by the moderator (I wasn't subscribed at the time). Clearly the message was let through, it just took a few weeks.
The evince website encourages people to send mail to the list:
(from http://www.gnome.org/projects/evince/)
"You can contact developers sending a mail to the Evince mailing list. You do not need to be subscribed"
If messages from non-subscribers are always going to take a week or two to get through to the list, you might point that subscribing will provide a much faster response.
