Hi Jonathan

With unformatted text I mean only raw text, without any image or text formating. The reason for this, is because the screen size of a sharp zaurus is small compared to a normall pc display. During reading in such small devices is very useful to fitt as much text as posible in the screen and be able to switch to normall display ( with formatting and images ) and back again. This is a functionality I saw in qpdf2 ( pdf reader for qtopia ).

Best regards

Hi, I'm a new one working with evince. I was looking for an
alternative pdf reader for my zaurus running pdaxrom and I think tha
evince is the answer, but there is a functionality that I miss. Qpdf
can display unformatted text, could this functionality be added as an
view option. I will be glad to help adding this, but I will apreciate
if somebody could give me some advice where to start digging in the
code.

What's 'unformatted text' mean? We don't actually have many preferences
yet, so we're probably not going to add one for this.

Another doubt I have, is it possible to build evince for gnome 2.4?

It might be possible, but we're targeting GTK+-2.6 right now. You'd
have to do the work to handle this yourself.

Thanks,
-Jonathan
