I am not assuming that my patch should have higher priority than others filed in bugzilla
but I'd still like to ask any of the maintainers of evince to at least comment on whether it is worth
pursuing any longer.
A gtk only build of evince is useful not only in minimalist desktops (the original motivation behind
it) but also to people using it with gtk-fb, possibly the embedded people, and as one step towards a windows version.
If there are any technical issues with the patch as it currently stands, I am happy to work on them.
