I second that.
Moreover there are plenty of documents that have no contents, thus you have
to "seek" them every time.
If there were per file bookmarks, you could at least bookmark important pages
(AMD docs anyone?)
I for example, when reading ecma-167 have had it, and converted the whole thing
to text,
and broke text to several files, added comments, etc....
